BIBBY FINANCIAL SERVICES MOVES GLOBAL HQ TO PEMBROKE HOUSE @ BANBURY BUSINESS PARK
Bibby Financial Services (BFS) www.bibbyfinancialservices.com, the Independent Small and Medium Enterprise funder, has announced the expansion of its global headquarters at Pembroke House in Banbury. Pembroke House will accommodate the business’s strategic growth plan over the coming years. BFS relocated to half the building in 2016 but now occupies the whole building after a comprehensive grade ‘A’ fit-out funded by the landlord and BFS.
BFS is the largest independent invoice finance provider in the UK and provides funding and foreign exchange services for businesses across the world. It has 1,200 employees worldwide in more than 40 offices in Europe, North America and Asia. BFS supports more than 10,000 businesses worldwide and has relocated all its central support systems to the 36,000 sq. ft. Pembroke House which was previously Vodafone Retail headquarters.
More than 300 UK employees have moved to the new headquarters.
Global Chief Executive of Bibby Financial Services, David Postings said “We have grown significantly in recent years. Our move to larger premises reflects this expansion and our ambitious growth plans over the coming years. Having our central support functions together with our expanding operational teams allows our internal network to work more closely, enabling us to better support staff and clients alike. The development of Pembroke House demonstrates our commitment to the Banbury area.”
Chris White, Managing Director of White Commercial Surveyors, said: “The M40 corridor is providing opportunities for growth and with a limited supply of office accommodation we are seeing good demand for office buildings within the northern sector of the M40. Enquiries from occupiers from London, Oxford and Birmingham together with the growth of indigenous business continue to see a good take up of buildings in this affluent and fast growing area.
White Commercial Surveyors www.whitecommercial.co.uk and Colliers www.colliers.com advised the landlord on the refurbishment and letting of the accommodation.
