Deeley Group Fly into Buckinghamshire with 7.5 million new 40000 sq ft Cygnet 40 production and distribution unit
Deeley Group are to develop a new ‘state of the art‘ Manufacturing and Distribution Facility, Cygnet 40, costing £7.5 million in Buckingham. White Commercial Surveyors who acquired the site for Deeley’s are advising the Midlands based developer on the specification of the building, and will be looking to lease or sell the building for the developer.
Cygnet 40, provides a 40,000 sq ft building in its own self-contained site which is expected to create more than 50 jobs with completion of the building expected in Spring 2024. The building benefits from 10m haunch height; 4 loading doors – 5m clear height; 50kN/m2 UDL ground floor design loading; first-floor office space with accessible raised floors; 3m x 3m loading dock doors; 43 car parking spaces and its own separate loading yard areas.
Andrew Brazier, development consultant at the Deeley Group, said: “We are pleased that this important development, which will create vital new jobs in Buckingham, has been approved. Deeley Group has a proud history of delivering developments in Buckinghamshire and we are delighted to be returning to the town with our third development”.
Chris White, managing director of White Commercial Surveyors commented “We are actively involved in the M1/M40 corridors (having worked in the region for 35 years) and there is a significant shortage of quality production and distribution buildings for occupiers in the fast-expanding Northampton Milton Keynes and Oxford Triangle for occupiers – especially buildings which can be purchased by an occupier. We expect a good level of demand from regional national and international businesses and the ‘Automotive Technology’ sectors with Silverstone Circuit close by”.
