BANBURY’S MARLEY WAY TRADE PARK NOW FULLY LET

In 2018 Dunmoore www.dunmoore.co.uk, a privately owned property investment and development company, purchased four industrial units at Marley Way, Banbury.  Following a substantial refurbishment scheme costing in the region of £750,000, they have created the new Banbury Trade Park Development.

Marley Way, one of the busiest trade destinations in Banbury which includes Homebase, Halfords, B&Q, GSF Car Parts and is situated opposite the newly built Waitrose store which generates over 110,000 vehicle movements a week is at an easily accessible location on the edge of Banbury Town centre and benefiting from close proximity to the motorway network at Junction 11 of the M40.

Having completely refurbished the four units with glazed frontages, open plan trading area, level entry doors, good natural light and improved signage to the estate, all the units have now been let to: Banbury Heating Supplies www.banburyhtgsupplies.co.uk at unit G6; Toolstation www.toolstation.com located at unit G5; Crown Paints www.crownpaints.co.uk at unit G1; the new tenants of unit G2 will be moving into their facility in January 2020.

Andrew Scott, Investment Surveyor at Dunmoore, says “Securing these final lettings at Marley Way concludes what has been an extremely successful business plan, which has seen the estate completely transformed in a relatively short period of time since acquisition.  We have not only improved the appearance of the estate dramatically but also the tenant profile on the terrace with some hands-on asset management, which has created one of the area’s top trade destinations.”

Chris White, Managing Director at White Commercial Surveyors, says “The scheme was purchased by Dunmoore following the completion of the new Waitrose Store and has witnessed a good deal of interest from occupiers wishing to be located in this prime trade location in Banbury with the region currently undergoing significant commercial and residential development and growth due in the main to the region’s location on the London to Birmingham M40’’.  White Commercial Surveyors and Rapleys acted as joint agents.
