Catesby Innovation Centre – Development Update
Catesby Innovation Centre, part of the 5-acre Catesby Aero Research and Facility www.catesbytunnel.com based in the village of Charwelton, near Daventry in Northamptonshire is nearing completion, due in December 2021.
Located within a private, secure countryside location within the heart of the UK’s ‘Motorsport Valley’, the new state-of-the-art development provides a new hub for automotive testing and collaboration. The key to the sites success will be the multi-million-pound re-development of the Catesby Railway Tunnel, once part of the Great Central Railway, offering a 2.7km long straight road-test track, affording an extensive range of vehicle assessment studies to be carried out on full-scale vehicles.
Alongside the tunnel, the new Catesby Innovation offices are nearing completion, providing modern, flexible office accommodation catering to automotive connected professionals.
