Marley Way Trade Park in Banbury to be refurbished and extended following opening of new Waitrose Superstore opposite!

Dunmoore, www.dunmoore.co.uk, a privately owned property investment and development company, have committed to invest over £½ million in refurbishing and developing the Marley Way Trade Park in Banbury.

Marley Way is one of the busiest trade destinations in Banbury, located just off Southam Road, and generates over 110,000 vehicle movements a week. Current occupiers include Tile Giant, B&Q, Homebase, Graham Plumbers Merchants and Halfords, plus the new Waitrose food store opening late January 2018.

Dunmoore, who have recently purchased the Marley Way Trade Park, are to refurbish the scheme which will provide units from 3,000 to 8,000 sq. ft. with glazed frontages, open plan trading area, level entry doors, good natural light and improved signage to the estate.

Marley Way is an easily accessible location, on the edge of Banbury Town Centre and accessed from Hennef Way (A422), providing access to the motorway network at Junction 11 of M40.

Andrew Scott, Investment Surveyor at Dunmoore, comments “We were delighted to acquire Marley Way, in what is a very competitive market, and now look forward to providing some much needed quality trade stock to the local area. Having negotiated the surrender of Units G5 & G6, we will be undertaking a comprehensive refurbishment of the units, which also
includes the option to extend the terrace, following a successful planning application.”

Chris White, Managing Director at White Commercial Surveyors, comments “This purchase by Dunmoore of Marley Trade Park has come at a good time with the opening of the new Waitrose on Southam Road in this very busy trade location. We are already receiving interest in the scheme and expect to announce new trade tenants shortly.”

White Commercial and Rapleys have been retained by Dunmoore to find tenants for the scheme.
