Mega Shed Launch – Central M40 – September 2015
Following Prodrive Motorsports relocation to its new prestigious HQ at Central M40 in Banbury North Oxfordshire fronting the M40 Motorway – Developers British Airways Pension Fund & db Symmetry held an ‘opening reception’ to launch the completion and availability of their new 235,000 sq ft speculative distribution/production facility.
Prodrive hosted the reception where over 60 leading commercial property agents – invited from London, Birmingham and the

The new 235,000 sq ft property includes 10,000 sq ft of offices and 225,000 sq ft of warehouse accommodation with a clear height of 13.25m, 20 dock levellers plus 2 level access doors, 136 car parking spaces with 47 HGV parking spaces and 50m yard depths. The property also has a secure gated yard with automated access barrier and a 1mVa power supply which can be
increased if desired.
Chris White Managing Director from White Commercial comments – ‘This is a substantial multi million pound investment by British Airways Pension Fund and db Symmetry – and provides the only newly built facility of this size along the length of the London to Birmingham M40 corridor. We were delighted with the attendance of most of the major commerical property advis
ors from London and Birmingham and from the M1 and M40 corridors. Everyone enjoyed both their inspection of Prodrive’s leading edge motorsport/automotive technology facility and the 235,000 sq ft speculative distribution/production facility which is adjacent.’
Chris Walkingshaw, Development Director for Prodrive comments – ‘We were very happy to host the launch event for this
fantastic new building. The Prodrive building has always been a real landmark next to the M40 in Banbury and something roughly 600,000 people drive past every week. We have been delighted with the compliments received on our new location and the statement the building makes. There certainly is an opportunity for other occupiers to capitalise on the convenience
and prominence of this location which is attracting not only distribution but also advanced engineering businesses like
